eval_love

The eval_love tool evaluates the hydrostatic Love number \(k_{\ell}\) of an input stellar model (see Ogilvie, 2014 for the adopted definition of \(k_{\ell}\)).

Syntax

eval_love filename model_type file_format l

Parameters

filename: Name of input stellar model file

model_type: Type of input stellar model (see the model_type parameter in the Stellar Model Parameters section)

file_format: Format of input stellar model file (see the file_format parameter in the Stellar Model Parameters section)

l: Harmonic degree \(\ell\)

Output

The hydrostatic Love number is printed to standard output.
